Dike near to Wijdenes
2015A wet day in July. I insisted on making a watercolour of the Westfrisian Dike near to a place called Wijdenes. Maybe that was not very clever: I had to start four times again, before it remained dry for one hour. But the suffering payed out: It was a wonderful atmosphere with the low-hanging clouds and that stange light on the dike. You do'nt get that on a sunny day.

Maligne Lake, Jasper, Canada
2010In the well known mountain-centre Jasper, in the Rocky mountains in Canada, this is one of the most beautiful lakes. We made a very nice walk high above the lake.
